Was Andrew Bynum sleeping with a coach's wife?

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been a mess this season and now the situation involving Andrew Bynum could make it into a disaster, as a report has come out that the suspended center was given paid leave after having sex with one of the members of the coaching staff's wife and the news comes from Media Take Out and will need to be confirmed, but if true, that's a mess.

According to the report from Media Take Out, Bynum, who was first suspended for conduct detrimental to the team and then given paid leave after his unpaid suspension ended, supposedly had "relations" with the wife of one of the members of the Cavs coaching staff and while the name has been redacted, it is not Mike Brown the head coach, but another coach on the staff. The news from Media Take Out came from a source that claims she is a "girlfriend" of one of the Cleveland Cavaliers players and that's how she could confirm the details.

The report goes on to say that Bynum had sex with someone's wife and that is what led to him getting suspended and now it appears that the team will be trading him and teams like the Heat, Lakers, Knicks and the Bulls and the source said that the team should bring him back since it has nothing to do with basketball. The team has been frustrated by Bynum's play this season and he has now been "excused from basketball duties" and it's likely he has played his final game with the team.

ESPN.com reported on the situation and wrote that Bynum was initially suspended for "conduct detrimental to the team" and lost a game check and the report also says that it followed an "incident" at practice last week and then he was suspended before the home game against the Golden State Warriors and this apparently was a "culmination" of events that have been going on and now the Cavs are in a tough situation, as he has only the first part of his salary guaranteed and the rest of the $12.25 million will kick in January 7 and the team could trade him by then.

This season Bynum has played in 24 games and started 19 and has averaged 8.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 20 minutes a game and now if the reports are true, he is likely done in Cleveland and on top of that, his attitude has been subpar. This is just the latest issue for the Cavs, who have not been very good this season and are just 10-20 and the team has had problems with Dion Waiters and Kyrie Irving, who has been called a ball hog by other players and now Waiters and Bynum may be on their way out.

Mavericks may be interested in Andrew Bynum

After swinging and missing on the premier free agents the last two offseasons the Dallas Mavericks are looking to piece together a roster to compete for a playoff spot and not waste the remaining years Dirk Nowitzki has as an NBA player.

One player they are looking at is former Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers (I guess) center Andrew Bynum.

After being traded from the Lakers last season, Bynum collected a large paycheck for providing zero services in Philadelphia.

The Mavericks are reported to be doing a thorough investigation into the health of Bynum's knee which limited him to wearing street clothes last season.

If Bynum is healthy and ready to go he could be the steal of free agency. If he signs with the Mavericks and he's damaged goods, Mark Cuban won't be hesitant to cut his losses.  

Andrew Bynum is a no show for the Sixers team picture

There was plenty of optimism when the Philadelphia 76ers traded for Andrew Bynum. The fans were hoping the team could piggy back off of last season's playoff run when they added Bynum and Jason Richardson. The team and the fans would like to forget that the trade ever happened.

Bynum missed all season with a knee injury and the team is playing out the string. Add to it that Bynum may never suit up for the Sixers at all since he'll be a free agent at season's end. To make matters worse, according to John Finger of CSNPhilly.com, Bynum skipped out on the team picture.


Though there were a lot of different faces in this year’s photo, there were two that were conspicuous by their absences.

One was Jason Richardson, who was rehabbing his surgically-repaired knee. The other was Andrew Bynum, who also is rehabbing his knees in New York City. Though his uniform was hung in his locker, Bynum did not make the trip to Philly to smile for the camera.

Without Bynum in the team picture it was as if he wasn’t even here at all.

Even though Bynum can leave the Sixers high and dry, it might be best for the team if they parted ways with the big man. If not Doug Collins might have a stroke.

Collins says Bynum not close to playing

Philadelphia 76ers big man Andrew Bynum has been missing all season long. It's due to injury so it's not like he's been underachieving all season. Bynum says he plans on returning this season, but head coach Doug Collins says Bynum's not close to playing at all.

After Bynum practiced with the team Friday, Collins wasn't thrilled about the possibility of Bynum coming back and concluded that this has been a lost season.

"He looked like a guy who hadn't played in nine months," Collins said. "I don't think any bells and whistles should be sent off that he's close to playing."

"It's amazing seeing him standing out there; he distorted the whole practice," Collins said. "You get visions of what might've been ... He's said that he's going to play, but this season is slipping away. We've got 24 games after (this weekend). We're eight (games) under .500, and we've got to play the Miami Heat four times."

It almost sounds as if Collins is throwing in the towel for this season.

The Sixers are battling for the eighth spot in the eastern Conference but are in danger of missing the playoffs. It would've helped if they had a healthy Bynum all season. Even for half a season. But right now Bynum might be better served just sitting out the rest of this season and trying to come back strong next year.

Reckless Driving

Apparently Andrew Bynum still has to learn the rules of the road. After being pulled over back in November 2010 for going 110 mph in a 55 mph zone in his Ferrari and parking in a handicapped space while grocery shopping in July, Bynum racked up two more tickets...this week.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Bynum was pulled over Tuesday for driving without a license plate and having illegally tinted tail lights. Bynum walked away with a fix-it ticket. But it was not lesson learned, because today Bynum was pulled over in his Porsche 911 on the freeway for going over 80 mph. Bynum was cited and released.


Maybe it's time for Bynum to consider hiring a chauffer or maybe taking a cab or bus to get around since he can't follow the simple rules of the road.
